Diamond Veins, French 70 (Kid Francescoli Remix)
A driving home song for me. I only wish it could be through a movement sensing LED tunnel rather than the M25. Both decompressing and uplifting with its beats and vocals.
Sans Soucis, Dancing on This.
Difficult to categorise, there’s something of Tame Impala, one of my favourite artists, about this. The woman has talent and this is an un-beat spin that works well when, striding, or driving across the city.
Push, (Pharoache Monch)
Need a little backup? This is an uplifting reminder about meeting life’s challenges, standing firm in your power. Also, a reminder that everybody wobbles, and everybody needs supporting at times. Choose solid friends and nurture the relationships.
“You And Me”, Penny and the Quarters
This is a fascinating look that weaves psychology and neuroscience together, to examine what makes us think, feel, and behave as we do. I have started, and abandoned, a fair few books from this genre, but this is both palatable and illuminating. It has helped me organise my head, and my time, better, which is no mean feat.
Tame Impala – Let it Happen.
For anyone who hasn’t heard of Aussie Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) he’s well worth a listen. Since Tame Impala’s inception, he’s gone on to produce for some major A-listers (who aren’t half as cool as him in my eyes). This man clearly has talent. Enjoy!
Midas, Maribou State
I love this tune so much. It’s strong and sage. It reminds me to always stay true to myself, whatever anyone else says. It’s also such a well-crafted piece. Let it hold you.
